Flew Spitfires with No.81 Sqn, scoring victories in North Africa and eraning the Distinguished Flying Cross. He later flew with No.222 Sqn and earned a Bar to this award. Post-war he commanded No.610 Sqn, left the RAF in 1957 and became a judge. He died on 30th October 1986.
