Flew with the legendary No.617 Sqn on the famed Dambusters raid as the rear gunner in Lancaster ED918 AJ-F. As part of the third wave they attacked the Sorpe Dam, damaging three trains with gunfire on the way to their target. He died in 2012.

Grant McDonald was the rear gunner on Lancaster AJ-F flown by Ken Brown. On the way to the Ruhr, the gunners shot up and damaged three trains in an eventful trip before reaching the Sorpe Dam. Sadly, we have learned that Grant S McDonald passed away in May 2012.

On 12th November 1944, the mighty Tirpitz was finally destroyed by a combined force of Lancasters from No 9 and No 617 Squadrons. LM220, an aircraft of 9 Sqn is shown here making its run toward the target at approximately 09.40 hours on that fateful day.

Raid on the Tirpitz by Ivan Berryman. 		A Lancaster of No.15 Squadron takes to the air at the start of a night sortie from Mildenhall in June 1944.

Last One Away by Ivan Berryman. 		R5689 (VN-N) - a Lancaster B.1 of 50 Squadron based at Swinderby. This aircraft crash-landed in Lincolnshire while returning from a mission on 19th September 1942, after both port engines failed as the aircraft was preparing to land. The aircraft never flew again. The crew on the final mission were : <br>Sgt E J Morley RAAF,<br>P/O G W M Harrison,<br>Sgt H Male,<br>Sgt S C Garrett,<br>Sgt J W Dalby,<br>Sgt J Fraser<br>and<br>Sgt J R Gibbons RCAF, the sole member of the crew killed in the crash.

Avro Lancaster B.1 by Ivan Berryman. 		To celebrate 50 years gone - and still going strong, Lancaster PA474 City of Lincoln depicted as she is in 1995, and as she appeared in 1946 and 1962. Published in 1995 by the Lincolnshire Lancaster Association. We have managed to get probably the last 30 copies of this print.
