Clipped Signature - Paul Rogers.

Volunteered as a paratrooper in 1942 and joined the 101st Airborne, jumping into Europe on D-Day. Landing eight miles from his intended target, he cut himself loose after getting snagged in trees and losing most of his equipment. Fought through Normandy but spent four weeks in hospital after Operation Market Garden. Rejoined his platoon and fought through to the Eagle's Nest and the end of the war. He died in 2015 aged 96.

One of the most respected officers in the 101st Airborne Division, he received a battlefield commission during the Normandy campaign, and joined Easy Company as 2nd Lieutenant for Operation Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge. He died in 2021 aged 99.

Upon rejoining the platoon he stayed with them all the way through to Hitler's Eagles Nest in Berchtesgaden. He died aged 96 on 16th March 2015.
