![]() Wing Commander T E Guttery MBE (deceased) *Signature Value : £80 Editions signed : Clipped Signature. | Guttery, T E (Wing Commander T E Guttery MBE (deceased)) Joined the Royal Flying Corps in 1912 serving with No.3 Squadron at Larkhill. No.5 Sqn was created from members of No.3 Sqn in July 1913 and this squadron was sent to France at the beginning of World War One. He survived the entire war, ending it serving with No.25 Sqn RAF. He went on to complete three tours in the Middle East with No.8 Sqn and No.55 Sqn and served in non-combat roles in World War Two, ending his career after the war in the Air Ministry. Our sources confirm he lived until at least 1973 and indicate at least 1989, but we have no confirmation of a date of death. |
