Squadron Leader Brian Hoskins
Squadron Leader Brian Hoskins led the Red Arrows display team for three years from 1979 to 1981. Being Team Leader of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team is a prized role. They have to be of at least Squadron Leader rank and must have completed a three-year tour as a Red Arrows team pilot earlier in their career.

Red Arrows Over Strangford by David Pentland.
 Flt Lt. Tim Couston and Flt Lt. Dave Stobie, The Red Arrows Synchro Pair, make a high-speed opposition pass over the replica of Captain Cooks Endeavour during the ships brief stop in Fowey Harbour, Cornwall, England, August 1997, as part of a round the world cruise.  Incorporated at the base of the image are facsimile signatures of Tim Couston, Dave Stobie and Chris Blake (Captain of the Endeavour) together with printed remarques of the Synchro pair and the Endeavour in full sail.

The Ambassadors by Robert Tomlin.
 Trained as a pilot on the Jet Provost, Gnat and Hunter before joining No.54 Sqn flying the Lightning.  He then became an instructor on the Hawk and Gnat, retiring in 1998 from the RAF but then becoming the Training Manager at RAF Valley.  He died in 2019.
