First flown on 26th October 1931. The De Haviland DH82 Tiger Moth was to enjoy one of the longest and most distinguished careers in aviation history. Depicted here is an example of that variant employed by an elementary and reserve flying training school during the early part of World War Two.

A Tigers Tale by Robin Smith.		Few pilots can resist the temptation for low flying should the opportunity present itself. Out of sight of the spoil-sport eyes of the authority, the rules will be broken, the artist would indulge in this chancy but undeniable thrill. A great sensation from any cockpit but for the artist nothing can compare with the effect from behind a pair of goggles to the accompaniment of humming wires around the cockpit of a Tiger Moth.
