'Bunny' Currant flew with No.605 Sqn and was credited with 13 kills during the Battle of Britain. He then became an instructor, joined No.501 Sqn and then commanded No.122 Wing from 1942 until the D-Day landings. He died in 2006.

Born 14th December 1911. One of the most succesful fighter pilots in the RAF, credited with 13 kills during the Battle of Britain. On 15th August 1940, with No. 605 Sqn, he downed two He111s and claimed a third probable. On 8th September he downed another bomber and damaged three more, sharing in two more the next day, downing two more and damaging a further three on the 15th of that month, before being shot down himself. The same afternoon, he got airborne again, shooting down a fighter. A

Hector MacLean - Spitfire pilot with No.602 Sqn during the Battle of Britain, a severe leg injury sustained in combat on 26th August 1940 ended his role as a pilot - he instead became a Fighter Controller on the ground. He died in 2007. <br><br><i>Clipped together with 3 other signatures : <br><br></i>Stuart Nigel Rose - A Spitfire pilot with No.602 Sqn throughout the Battle of Britain, he claimed 3 victories. Later posted to No.54 Sqn and various training units. He died in 2017. <br><br>Mickey Mount - Joined No.602 Sqn flying Spitfires against the Luftwaffe at the height of the Battle of Britain. He served throughout the war, also flying Hurricanes in Malta and Wellingtons in the Middle East. He died in 2002. <br><br>Hugh Niven - Flew Spitfires with No.602 Sqn during the Battle of Britain and was still with the squadron when he was invalided out of the RAF with tuberculosis in 1942. He died in 2008.

Clipped Signature - Hector MacLean 		Depicting Spitfires of No.92 Squadron, which on their first mission over Dunkirk, encountered six ME109Es and succeeded in shooting down every one of them! Such actions came to symbolise the spirit of the 92nd Squadron which went on to see intense fighting during the Battle of Britain and by the end of 1940 had claimed an astonishing 127 enemy aircraft destroyed. A dramatic and unusual perspective on this classic aeroplane addition to any collection of Spitfire paintings.

Spitfire Country by Ivan Berryman. 		Tom Dalton-Morgan was a British flying Ace who was credited with at least 17 victories during World War Two. It was in the aircraft shown here, Hurricane Mk.I P3972 of No.43 Sqn that on 13th August 1940 he claimed a Ju88 but was struck by return fire, baling out of the stricken Hurricane. He became an Ace during the Battle of Britain and later also became a Hurricane night-fighter Ace, claiming six victories. Awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Distinguished Service Order and Order of the British Empire, he went on to manage the Woomera rocket testing facility in Australia for 30 years. He died in 2004, aged 87.

In August 1942 he took command of No. 122 Wing, leading them until the D-Day landings in June 1944 before taking a non-flying post until the end of the war. He died 12th March 2006.
