Flew Fairey Battles with No.103 Sqn and Hurricanes with No.151 Sqn and No.501 Sqn during the Battle of Britain, shooting down an Me109. He later flew Havocs with No.85 Sqn and also flew the Mosquito. He died in 2010.

During his service life Vivian flew the Fairy Battle with 103 Squadron, later flying the Hawker Hurricane with 151 and 501(F) Squadrons during the Battle of Britain in 1940. A classic head-to-head combat between Squadron Leader Sandy Johnstone in his Spitfire and an Me109 over the south coast of England on 25th August, 1940. With 602 Squadron scrambled to intercept an approaching raid. The Commanding Officer notches up his second victory of the day. <br><br><b>Published 2000.</b>

Head to Head by Nicolas Trudgian		Mosquitos of 105 Squadron, Marham. No. 105 Squadron, stationed at Marham, Norfolk, became the first Royal Air Force unit to become operational flying the Mosquito B. Mk. IV bomber on 11th April 1942. The painting shows 105 Squadron on the raid of 10th April 1945, to the Wahren railway marshalling yards at Leipzig, Germany.

Return From Leipzig by Anthony Saunders 		Translated as <i>Maid of all Work</i>. Junkers Ju.88A-1 4D+DC of Stab II./KG 30 Eagle Wing is depicted attacking a requisitioned Royal Navy trawler in the English Channel in the summer of 1940.

Mädchen für Alles by Ivan Berryman. 		Stuart Nigel Rose - A Spitfire pilot with No.602 Sqn throughout the Battle of Britain, he claimed 3 victories. Later posted to No.54 Sqn and various training units. He died in 2017.<br><br><i>Clipped together with 3 other signatures : </i><br><br>Mickey Mount - Joined No.602 Sqn flying Spitfires against the Luftwaffe at the height of the Battle of Britain. He served throughout the war, also flying Hurricanes in Malta and Wellingtons in the Middle East. He died in 2002. <br><br>Hugh Niven - Flew Spitfires with No.602 Sqn during the Battle of Britain and was still with the squadron when he was invalided out of the RAF with tuberculosis in 1942. He died in 2008. <br><br>Hector MacLean - Spitfire pilot with No.602 Sqn during the Battle of Britain, a severe leg injury sustained in combat on 26th August 1940 ended his role as a pilot - he instead became a Fighter Controller on the ground. He died in 2007.

In 1941 he was flying the American built Douglas DB7 Havoc night fighter with number 85(F) Squadron. He commanded his own Mosquito Squadron towards the end of the War. Vivian was released from the RAF in 1946 with the rank of Wing Commander. He died on 21st February 2010.
